It's a joke we always told, like Annatar was a talented misleaded girl(cuz his name sounds dangerously girlish), and tricked by the evil Melkor... And sometimes I think maybe for Annatar, it was like "on the road to evil and there's no turning back", so he went on and on...
Yeah, not the kind that meet everyday in real life, but still the kind that talks very often and knows something about each other
Eilian's drawings were really hilarious, we(a dozen people actually) used to talk about some ideas we have, Silm and LotR or HoME jokes, then she or I would draw them XD

But even if he really was "on the road to evil and there's no turning back", meaning that there's no escape, I really think that he *had* his chance to redeem himself in the Second Age; he could have done some good. But instead he just went and destroyed everything.
